A BRITISH tourist has been found dead in a rental room on a Greek holiday island.
Cops have launched a probe after the lifeless body of the 60-year-old was discovered in Crete.

The man had been travelling alone and staying in the coastal city of Rethymno.
He was found by an accommodation manager on Saturday – who immediately called emergency services.
Paramedics and an ambulance rushed to the scene but tragically the Brit could not be saved.
The exact cause of death is not yet known but criminal activity has been ruled out.
The body will be sent to autopsy for a full investigation.
Less than two weeks ago a British man after taking his wife in for treatment.
The 55-year-old was on holiday with his partner in Kalavryta, , when she reportedly fell ill suddenly and needed to be rushed to a local hospital.
And on the holiday island of Corfu an 82-year-old woman was after being swept out to sea.
The Greek island of Zante has also seen tragedy after a British woman was .
Her devastated partner found the 66-year-old in the pool of their holiday villa.
