A BRITISH man has been arrested after allegedly raping a Norwegian tourist in an abandoned building on a popular holiday island.
The unnamed Brit, 25, is accused of luring a 24-year-old woman away from a busy nightlife strip before sexually assaulting her.

The Norwegian tourist was on holiday with her family in the , local outlet Skai News reported.
She had gone out for drinks with her sister at around 11.30pm last Wednesday along Orfanidou Street, a seafront road packed with bars and clubs.
There, she met a group of men, including the British suspect.
According to her account, he led her away under the pretext of wanting to talk privately.
But instead, he reportedly took her to an abandoned building where he allegedly raped her in the early hours of Thursday.
The young woman reportedly managed to escape after hearing movement outside, ran to the beach, and then returned to her hotel to ask for help.
said she later picked out the suspect in a lineup, telling officers one of the men “looks like him.”
She recalled the alleged attacker wearing an earring and said she had been drinking that night.
The tourist also told investigators she hadn’t bathed before coming to the police station, a detail that could help preserve biological evidence.
Officers took all the clothing she wore during the alleged attack for forensic lab testing.
Cops in Rhodes have since arrested the 25-year-old Brit.
He was reportedly staying temporarily at a hotel in the Fanes area.
Investigators are now examining CCTV footage from Orfanidou Street and nearby areas as they launched a probe into the alleged assault.
Cops are also said to be reviewing the communications – including text messages – of those involved around the time of the alleged rape.
The case comes just two months after a off the Rhodes coast.
The 16-year-old girl reported the alleged assault during a trip with her family.
The incident is said to have happened in broad daylight at ‘ Ialysos beach – in front of a hotel packed with guests.
According to Greek outlet Dimokratiki , the girl approached cops with her father.
She claimed she had been sexually assaulted just 20 minutes earlier while with a 15-year-old Belgian boy in the sea.
