A spokesperson for Stinsons Independent Family Funeral Directors said: “Sadly, we announce the passing of James Wainwright, known to all as Jamie, who passed away on Wednesday 26th August 2026, aged 28 years.
“A much-loved son to Chris and Karen, a cherished brother to Ben and Matt, a devoted fiancé to Hannah, and a much-loved uncle to Summer.
“Jamie will be remembered for the life he lived, the memories he made and the many special moments shared with those who knew and loved him.”
His funeral is set to take place at Holy Trinity Church in his hometown on September 16.
