A construction team had been installing cladding on Barr’s Pennsylvania property when Hanrahan was shot in the chest and killed on July 8.
Barr has since been arrested and charged with murder, possession of an instrument of , and recklessly endangering another person.
Hanrahan, a member of the Irish traveller community from Essex, was rushed to hospital after being shot but was later pronounced dead.
Philadelphia said contractors were working on the back of Barr’s home shortly after 2pm when they heard a shot from inside the property.

Local cops said: “They heard arguments or some kind of commotion inside, and then they found the boss outside.”
The shooting is said to have taken place during a dispute over how much the construction would cost, police sources told the Daily Mail .
Local outlet KYW reported that Hanrahan tried to charge over £50,000 for the work on the 1,200sq ft home – allegedly much more than it should have cost.
One neighbour claimed Hanrahan and his team had been “asking for more money” every day.
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said Hanrahan previously entered America illegally.
This came after he was denied a standard tourist visa for allegedly being a member of the “Travelling Conmen Fraud Group”.
The DHS told The Telegraph : “Salis Hanrahan was an illegal alien from the .
“He entered the country illegally on an unknown date and location and was denied Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (Esta) as he was determined to have affiliation with ‘The Travelling Conman Fraud Group’, a transnational criminal organisation.”
US and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection had not made any contact with Hanrahan before his death, the DHS added.
Hanrahan’s family have since spoken out and branded his alleged killer “scum”.
His sister Lisa-Marie said: “The scum that took my baby brother lord pls why us.”
Another one of Hanrahan’s relatives said that Barr was “evil” for the alleged murder.
However, some of Barr’s friends have hit back – with a Philadelphia firefighter union spokesperson saying he was once an “exceptional firefighter” and that the alleged altercation was “way out of character”.
Hanrahan appears to have married his wife Roseann recently – with a picture she posted on in January showing them in wedding attire.
The Travelling Conmen Fraud Group is a transnational organised crime group, according to the .
The intelligence service says British and Irish members of the group usually enter the US illegally before travelling around the country to offer shady construction .
Scammers will often quote a low price initially and then demand much more money later on, the FBI says.
Members also carry out “low-quality, unnecessary, or incomplete work, sometimes damaging homeowners’ residences”, according to the intelligence agency.
