kicked off her 2026 LUX Tour in France earlier this month and arrived in Italy on Tuesday to play the following night.

But the Spanish singer was forced to cancel her gig at the Unipol Forum early after she began to feel “extremely sick”.

Rosalía has since shared a photo of her in hospital as she received medical care.

Lying in a hospital bed and attached to a drip, the singer smiled through the pain as she gave the camera a thumbs up.

She wrote alongside the snap: “Feeling better, thank you so much for all the love and understanding from everyone who was there.”

Just before Rosalía exited the stage on Tuesday night, she told crowds: “I’ve had big time food poisoning and I’ve tried to push it till the end, but I’m feeling extremely sick.

“I’m puking out there. And I really wanna give the best show, and I’m like on the floor, doing my best.”

Earlier in the night, the singer promised she would “try to keep going”, but warned that “maybe at some point I’ll have to stop”.

She said: “I’m gonna push as much as I can.

“But if we have to stop – we might have to stop if I really physically, I can’t keep going. I mean, I’m in pain.”

Shortly afterwards, the singer confirmed her concert would have to stop entirely, adding: “I’m really unwell, and I can’t do it.”

The pop star is currently touring her new album LUX – which was released in November.

Rosalía graduated with honors from Catalonia College of Music, thanks to her collaborative cover record Los Ángeles with Raül Refree and El Mal Querer’s baccalaureate project, which was co-produced by El Guincho on a low budget.

The project featured modern interpretations of flamenco mixed with pop and urban, which is what her music largely involves today.

Her ascension into the worldwide music scene began with the distribution of El Mal Querer, which received the and was included in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Rosala’s first breakthrough single was Con Altura, a reggaeton-inspired piece that signified Rosala’s transition to urban music, which she co-wrote with in 2019.

It was rated one of the year’s best songs by Billboard and Pitchfork, and it was voted Best Urban Song by the Latin Recording Academy.
