BRIAN McFadden’s friends are concerned the star’s time on I’m A Celebrity Wild Frontier could be a “career ender”.

In June, The Sun told Brian, 46, and Boyzone star 51, for the I’m A Celebrity spin-off.

Although Brian’s pals are said to be worried about how the “loose-lipped” star’s reputation could be impacted once the show’s aired.

A source told The Sun: “This is the first proper reality show Brian has signed up for and there’s a reason for that – he’s very loose-lipped.

“Everyone is so worried he’ll end up getting cancelled after losing his temper, accidentally revealing some celebrity secret about one of his famous mates or spouting off his opinions on controversial subjects.

“Brian doesn’t care what people think about him and is happy to rant on about anything – but his friends are very concerned it’ll be a career-ender.”

The stars are rumoured to have inked a lucrative deal, with each netting around £100,000 for the gig.

Brian already has a strong link to I’m A Celeb, as his ex won the main series back in 2004.

Filming is due to begin in Canada in September, with the programme set to air next year.

A telly insider said at the time: “Bosses are delighted that and will be taking part, they’ll each bring a lot of fun and mischief to the camp.

“Everyone’s really excited about this new format, the pairs element will get everyone talking.

“The casting team are hopeful they can cast duos, but may also include some stars and their non-famous family members or partners.

“Viewers will see the pairings undertake gruelling trials in the beautiful and unknown Canadian landscape and take on action-packed challenges to win food, all aiming to become the sole victorious pair.”

Other include Rio and Kate Ferdinand, as well as Christopher Dean and Karen Barber.

The main show is continuing in as normal.
