But there were also quite a few glaring omissions as five Premier League stars were left out.
Some of them couldn’t make the cut due to injury but others missed out due to other options that were more preferable for Ancelotti.
Nevertheless, those names are so big they could have easily built a team of their own.
The Italian tactician went with ‘s Alisson and ex-Manchester City star Ederson in goal.
goalkeeper Lucas Perri has never played for the Brazilian national team and won’t get to break his duck in North America as Gremio’s Weverton will be the third option between the sticks.
Monaco’s Vanderson was omitted as was ex- ace Alex Telles, who currently plays for Botafogo.
Former Brazil captain Thiago Silva has defied the passage of time as he starred for in his late 30s and just helped Porto win the Primera Liga at 41.
Silva even made Brazil’s preliminary squad but seems to have played his last match for the national team as he won’t get the chance to bid farewell at the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

‘s Richarlison and Chelsea’s Joao Pedro were left out as Ancelotti preferred the likes of Endrick, Brentford’s Igor Thiago, Man Utd’s Matheus Cunha, Raphinha, Vinicius Jr and of course Neymar.
