CROATIA are in the semi-final of the World Cup after beating Brazil in a penalty shoot-out.
A tense game ended in dramatic fashion with x scoring the winning penalty to book Croatia’s place in the semi-final.
Brazil thought they had won the match in extra-time after Neymar scored picked the ball up from deep and played two silky one-twos before rounding the goalkeeper and blasting the ball into the roof of the net.
But Croatia fought their way back as they so often do in World Cup knock-out matches and equalised through Bruno Petković’s deflected strike with minutes left on the clock.
Croatia will now take on either the Netherlands or Argentina next week for a place in the World Cup final.
