A MURDER investigation has been launched following the death of a 17-year-old – with four men arrested in connection with the incident.

Cops were called to the scene in Linslade, Bedfordshire, at 10.25pm on Thursday, after receiving reports of .

Emergency services found the teen unresponsive and he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

A man was arrested at the scene and has been remanded in on suspicion of murder.

Three other men were arrested in connection with the incident.

Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor said: “This is an incredibly tragic incident in which a 17-year-old boy has lost his life and our thoughts are with his loved ones at this unimaginably difficult time.

“We currently have one person in custody on suspicion of murder, and three other men are also assisting us with our enquiries”

She said that the team were working hard to establish the cause of the teen’s death.

She added that they initially received reports of a possible break-in but no evidence has been found to suggest the victim was carrying out or attempting to carry out a burglary.

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries today including reviewing CCTV and speaking to people in the area, and we’re urging the public to help us by letting us know any information they may have.”

Cops are urging anyone with any doorbell or CCTV footage to get in touch immediately.
