A FORMER world champion has made a brutal prediction for the heavyweight showdown between Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder.

The veteran heavyweights will on April 4.

Both men are extremely past their respective primes and have one foot out of the sport.

The fight could be very well be decided by who is more over the hill, a debate which is currently being had by fans.

But former WBC cruiserweight champion foresees only one outcome coming to fruition.

He told First Round Boxing : “If this fight would have been made three or four years ago, it would have probably caused murder.

“But, at this stage now, I think that he [Derek] will come through a few dodgy moments in the first couple of rounds and then he will go right through him.

“Like a knife through butter, in the second half of the fight.”

Bellew isn’t ruling out the possibility of rolling back the years and detonating his nuclear missile of a right hand on the chin of .

But he has serious questions over the 40-year-old’s desire at this stage of his career.

“Wilder is always going to have that punch,” he said. “But I just don’t believe that he actually wants it, the way that Del wants it.
