And they only completed one round after George fell to the ground before the start of the second.

Cameras cut away as George lay unconscious on the ground as replays appeared to reveal a clash of heads between the two boxers.

George made it to his corner, received water from his trainer before collapsing on his stool in a frightening delayed reaction.

Oberlton realised the severity of the situation and rushed to George’s corner in support of his opponent.

George did make it to his feet but looked to be full of confusion as he was placed back on his stool before being escorted out of the arena.

Oberlton was awarded a technical knockout, improving to 15-0 in his most bizarre win of his career.

“I’m so glad that he got up on his feet and that he’s OK,” Oberlton said.

“I’m a true champion, true warrior. We can do whatever you want to do it, but I’m just happy that he’s OK.
