BRENTFORD spurned the chance to leapfrog west London rivals Chelsea into sixth thanks to a drab draw with Bournemouth.
The Bees’ buzz from their last gasp win over Burnley last weekend was well and truly zapped thanks to a 0-0 draw at the Vitality Stadium.

But they were lucky to leave the south coast with a point, as the Cherries should’ve been awarded a penalty in the 49th minute when Michael Kayode brought down Marcus Tavernier.
Kayode felled the winger by stepping on his achilles as the ball was through to him.
Referee Craig Pawson and VAR, however, didn’t deem the contact worthy of a spot kick – much to the frustration of Tavernier.
