The mum-of-one revealed that she had been branded “big” while others insinuated that she was pregnant by saying she was “hiding something”.
The 31-year-old wore a stunning floor-length blue Nobody’s Child dress with her brown hair falling in soft curls over her shoulder at the massive event.
She posed for pictures alongside proud mum Lorraine, who also stunned in a long-sleeved silver gown.
Rosie said she posted some photos with her mum from the day on her social media, but she quickly took most of them down after being bombarded with hateful comments.
She then shared a video calling out the cruel trolls and said she “wished people would think a little bit more” before commenting on other people’s bodies.
Rosie also slammed ‘unacceptable’ comments, including those suggesting that she was pregnant again.
In the clip, she said: “There’s been some comments on the pictures that I’ve put up of the Baftas in my dress.
“I’ve mainly deleted them, but there’s ones about… saying that I’m big and saying I’m hiding something, which is obviously saying that I’m pregnant, which I’m not.
“But what if I was trying to and it wasn’t working? I just don’t really understand why people make comments like that.”
Rosie went on to talk about her body image and thanked her loyal followers for sticking up for her in the comments.
She added: “I didn’t really feel like I looked quite nice in that dress anyway, and there’s been lots of nice comments, but it does really just take one.”
“I was just sort of thinking about how it can kind of stop, and I don’t think it ever will.

“But people have been commenting on it, saying things like, ‘ Why are you doing this?’ and I really like that, and I think we should do more of that.
“It’s not about picking sides or being petty and arguing – it’s about just calling stuff out that’s just not nice.
“I don’t think I’ve ever really liked the way I look, especially now when I look back at pictures before Billie, I was like ‘Oh my God’.
“Yeah, I have gone up a size, and it’s not really that easy to get off.
“So there’s two different things to it – there’s the whole body image thing, but then there’s the whole thinking I’m pregnant, and I’m not.
“I just think that’s really crap. And it’s 2026, so why are we still thinking it’s acceptable to comment on people’s bodies and comment on how people look? I just don’t get it.
“I suppose I wanted to say thank you to the people that are commenting back and saying it’s not on.
“And I wish people would think a little bit more about where people are, especially with comments about asking if I’m hiding something.”

LORRAINE has spoken many times on a number of her show's about how strong her bond is with her only daughter.
When Rosie was away working in Singapore before the Covid pandemic, Lorraine spoke of her pain at being separated from her child.
She said “There’s nothing like being able to give your child a cuddle.
“Every mother will know what I’m saying – there’s just nothing like the smell of your child’s hair. Rosie always smells so good.”
Eventually, the pair reunited and Lorraine told MailOnline: “I’m trying not to be too teary, because I don’t want to embarrass her, but being able to hold her after all that time was just fantastic.”
Lorraine also broke down in tears back in 2020 when she turned 60 and Rosie surprised her with a video call from Singapore on air.
The mum and daughter duo also appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox together, joining the Channel 4 show in 2021 and 2022.
Mum Lorraine was quick to take to the comments to praise her daughter for standing up to the cruel trolls.
She said: “Well said – you are so beautiful and I’m so proud of you”.
Others also flocked to the comments of the post to compliment Rosie and praise her for how she handled the situation.
One person said: “Rosie don’t let unkind people make you unhappy or take your confidence away. You are a lovely young lady. You have a beautiful daughter, a wedding to look forward to and a great mum. Just ignore the mean people. Enjoy your life and leave them to it.”
Another added: “Well said Rosie! I hope you know how bloody stunning you looked at the BAFTAs on Sunday as you always do! Also, remember when people say something negative or horrible about others, it’s really what they don’t like about themselves”.
Someone else wrote: “Rosie, thank you for calling it out. We all need to do this, it is absolutely unacceptable, and everybody has very precious mental health. You and your mammy looked gorgeous, and you were having a fab time, nobody has the right to steal anyone’s happiness, keep shining”.
A fourth posted: “You looked amazing Rosie , so long as you are happy in your body that is the only opinion that counts! Some people are rotten, if they haven’t anything nice to say they should keep their mouths shut!! You got this Rosie!”
And a fifth chimed in: “Rosie, you looked absolutely beautiful at the BAFTAs, please ignore these horrible keyboard warriors who have nothing better to do with their time. Well done for speaking out, I hope they feel ashamed!”
