BIG Brother winner Luke Anderson has slammed this year’s show in a surprise rant, as he fumed “it’s astonishingly s***”.

The new series of kicked off on Sunday night, with 16 new housemates all entering the famous compound.

But, BB champ Luke today begged bosses to shake-up the reality show and take it “back to basics”.

In his latest , the star, who has since ditched fame to open his own bakery with his wife Jamie-Lee, gave his verdict on the new series.

“So, what do I think of Big Brother right now? I think it’s absolutely, astonishingly s**t, and I think it has been for a number of years,” Luke bluntly said.

“I think our year included (which was on Channel 5). I think the only time it was ever really good or watchable was years.

“I know that might be a bit controversial and I get it how people are so loyal to the program.

“It’s like they’ve got blinkers on that they can’t see how s***t it is.”

Continuing his rant, the dad-of-two said: “Just let it go. It’s s***’e. It’s so overproduced.

“It’s like they don’t listen to the fans. The fans, including myself, I’ll always be a diehard fan.

“Just take it back to basics, for the love of God. It’s as simple as that. Stop with all the fake s***’e.”

Although Luke loved his time on Big Brother 14 years ago, he previously told The Sun how .

“I was new to Twitter and little did I know how nasty it could be,” the star told us.

“People threatened to stab me, said frequently that I was a freak and didn’t deserve to live.

“I began to suffer really badly with panic attacks, the ambulance was called one of the times.

“Thankfully I learnt to grow a thick skin, and realised that these trolls were just after a reaction.”
