The winner recounted how he had been enjoying his birthday celebration when he was brutally attacked.
Cameron shared two distressing images of his injured face on Instagram.
One image depicted him lying in bed with a prominent black eye, while the second slide showcased the cuts on his face alongside his bruised eye.
Describing the traumatic incident, Cameron wrote: “I had a wonderful birthday surrounded by love, yet I still encountered individuals who chose hate and violence!
“They targeted me with homophobic slurs and later assaulted me when I was alone.
“It shook me. It made me feel vulnerable in a way no one should ever experience, especially not for simply being myself. I’m grateful to my friend (CARZ) for looking after me and providing care, but it should never have come to this.”
Continuing, the star stated: “But here’s what I realized: this isn’t just about me or the LGBTQ+ community.
“It’s about every minority, every marginalized voice, and everyone who has been told they don’t belong. The politics, the government, the people—they want to divide us, but they will not succeed.
“It was my birthday, and I had an amazing day, but the attack has shaken me. Nonetheless, it has ignited a fire within me to stand up against these individuals.
“You will not win. Keep trying, but you will fail!”
Fans quickly rushed to express their shock and send well-wishes to the reality star.
One remarked: “I hope you're okay, mate. This is terrible and so wrong.”
Another added: “I’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you my thoughts.”
One more said: “This is awful, Cameron. I hope you’re alright; take care.”
