BIG Brother presenter Will Best seemed to take a jab at former housemate George Gilbert.

He took to the stage during last night’s eviction and made a remark.

Standing alongside co-host AJ, Will addressed the audience: “It’s been a very tense day in the house.

So far, ITV2 viewers have bid farewell to Emily Hewertson, who spent only a few hours in the house, and Gani Khan, who was the second housemate evicted last Friday.

Sources indicated that George left his co-stars shocked after making offensive comments and was immediately summoned to the Diary Room and expelled from the house.

This occurred after he was reprimanded for a homophobic gesture directed at housemate Sam, which left him in tears.

George also had a confrontation with Teja over immigration issues and was accused of fat-shaming housemate Cameron K by telling him to stop eating a biscuit.

He further upset the female housemates by stating they “all look and think the same” and angered Jenny during a discussion about addiction by advising her against giving money to homeless individuals.

George was also accused of making Zelah – whose mother is from – feel unwelcome during a conversation about celebrating Pakistani Independence Day.

The housemate had already received a formal warning for his language earlier in the week.

It is understood that there have been several other incidents where the housemate was addressed by Big Brother but were not aired due to violations of broadcasting standards.
