YOU might know him as Sam on Big Brother, but outside of the iconic house – Sam is known as Smashby, he has some very famous pals, and a blossoming music career.
The only time , 27, who entered the house on Sunday night, mentioned music – was when he revealed what he wanted to spend the money on if he were to win.

He briefly mentioned he’d put some cash towards a “music project” after gushing about how he wanted to go to Disneyland, buy a flat and get himself a fluffy cat.
But we can reveal that away from the famous Big Brother house, Sam is known as Smashby and often rubs shoulders with royalty.
With a music career spanning over a decade, Smashby – who goes by he/they/she pronouns as per Instagram – has worked with and from the hit BBC drag show.
He has also worked with a number of other drag stars, often posing in snaps with them on social media.
This summer, Sam toured festivals for Pride 2025 – appearing at various events up and down the country.
He was even seen headlining at the same event Strictly Come Dancing star and Drag Race icon La Voix performed at.
The pair even snapped a selfie together backstage.
He is also pals with Divina De Campo, and the pair have worked on several projects together over the years.
In the summer of 2021, Sam collaborated with Divina De Campo on their son Make A Scene.
The pair could be seen dancing together in a music video, with Divina heavily promoting it on her social media.
Sam and Divina’s friendship seems to be strong and unbreakable, with them publicly supporting one another this year.
Back in May of this year, Sam toured with Divina as her special guest.
Opening her show, I Do Think, Sam stormed the stage in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Sharing some snaps of the pair backstage at Divina’s shows, Sam thanked the drag star for allowing them to be their support act.

At the time, Sam wrote in the caption: “Supporting @divinadecampo on tour? I DO THINK. This experience has been an absolute dream for me.
“So many laughs, so many pinch me moments. I’m so grateful to Divina for giving me such an amazing opportunity.“
He later concluded the caption: “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and I hope to do it again one day.”
He previously collaborated with Aja – an American rapper and RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 finalist
And he posed up a storm with Ruby Sinclair, a drag star who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2023.
Since Sam began his music career, his appearance has drastically changed.
Sharing a before and after snap commemorating 10 years in the music industry, Sam penned a caption which read: “10 years ago I stepped onto my first ever pride stage.
“17 years old and absolutely terrified after blagging my way onto there.
“Getting to perform at pride was my dream for many years and it didn’t just become a reality, it became a lifeline.
“It became my outlet to perform my music, make so many friends, hear the most inspiring stories and ultimately grow into the person I am today.
“Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the last 10 years, here’s to the next 10.”
Back in February, Sam’s song Love Myself (How I Used To Love You) was played on BBC Introducing.
Divina supported him at the time, commenting on his post about it, saying: “Omg this is absolutely amazing! Well done you!”
And in January 2024, his song Move Your Body was played in an episode of Love Island Australia.
