EVICTED Big Brother star Emily Hewertson has revealed how she turned down Love Island for YEARS.
Last night viewers watched as the political events manager was the – just hours after moving in.



‘s brutal eviction left viewers stunned, and was one of the most shocking twists ever.
Following her exit from the house, she has now revealed how she had been previously asked to do fellow reality show, .
Emily also said why she always thought she would bomb on reality TV.
Revealing that Love Island producers previously approached her, she told GB News: “When I first got the call I was excited! I was thinking about the designer handbags I could buy if I made it through the show and become this big reality TV star.
“But as it kind of went on, reality kind of struck and I thought about how I would be characterised on this TV show, and I think I would’ve been the sore thumb and the token Tory.
Revealing that she knew she would not go down well with viewers, she said: “I think they (Love Island producers) wanted something different but I think they wanted to use that as a storyline and I think the trolls would’ve loved it.
“I think the people who already hate me, that would give them another reason to hate me.”
Emily’s brutal exit from the BB house came after hosts and revealed on Sunday’s launch show that one person would be evicted straight away.
The housemates then had to compete in a game called “Evil Eye” where they had to obtain enough public votes to stay on the show.
Emily, Sam and Caroline had the least votes, and last night viewers watched them fight for their place and a chance to win the £100,000 prize.
The trio were told to decide between them who should leave in a brutal showdown – a move Emily happened to face the brunt of.
Emily, from , said: “I think I should stay because obviously it’s once in a life time and I’m young … it’s such a hard one.
“I think everyone’s reasons are all valid, we all applied to be here.”
But Sam and Caroline voted to send her home, and after she left Caroline said: “That was f*****g horrible.”
Sam later shed a tear in the Diary Room, telling Big Brother: “I feel like it’s so overwhelming and I just got here.”
Meanwhile last June, Emily came under fire when she was in Clacton-on-Sea.
It was mistakenly believed she was the girl who chucked the drink at the politician back in 2024
