He said on SunSport’s No Glove Lost episode: “You watch Tyson Fury, and the most outside of his fights, the most viral clip of his four-year-old son calling him a f***ing dafty or whatever it was.
“That’s just the way he is. He’s way more accessible. His life is more accessible. He’s way more open.
“AJ, it’s like you drive down Oxford Street, you know you’re going to see a billboard of him for Boss or Underarm or whatever it is.
“You know that he’s open and accessible, but in a way where he’s standing there because he’s doing Clean Hearts or he’s helping kids or he’s opening a community center or he’s paying this or he’s paying that. It’s just a different type of access.
“So I don’t think that it’s the fact that people don’t feel connected. I just think that, like you said, you can imagine yourself sat down in the pub screaming, get off at an England game with Tyson Fury as opposed to, you couldn’t imagine that with Anthony Joshua.
“You imagine you walk into Anthony Joshua’s house and there’s a ballroom there, and you’re discussing the next brand that you’re planning to promote. So it’s just a bit different.”

“But when you scratch a bit beneath, you see how he fights, the style he has, the opponents he’s faced.
“The record’s there, but Joshua’s gonna look good when it comes to Saturday night.”
