Savannah Scrub was the more basic of the two camps, and viewers were not impressed by his behaviour.
After days of meals of rice and beans and being more exposed to the elements while in camp, the Savannah Scrub team finally reunited with main camp on last night’s show.
was seen telling David: “Oh you’ve had some stick” while Adam Thomas added: “Oh Beverley’s not happy with you mate.”
As the camp laughed, Beverley said: “He was mean to me. I was going ‘I’m gonna chin him when we get in there!'”
But speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Beverley now wishes she had said more.
She explained: “When I was watching it last night — I actually thought I was too easy on him. I did.
“I mean, you’ve got to wait and see what happens, but I actually thought I was too easy on him when I first got back into main camp.
“I did say a lot more than that — it was edited out — but I think I was too easy on him when we first met again.”
Beverley added, in the chat with WhichBingo : “I was disappointed as well, because I was a fan of his.
“Yeah, so it’s one of those, isn’t it? I guess you wouldn’t say he’d be one of your heroes, but obviously he’s someone you enjoyed watching as an athlete, and I really admired him.”

Earlier this week, David’s pals backed his to send Bev to the Savannah Scrub camp.
They told The Sun: “It wasn’t personal. David is a very calm and thoughtful person. He thinks everything through. He’s very logical.
“His thought process would have been all about survival instinct.
“He knew in order to have the best chance in there, it was important to have the strongest members of the group in his team.
“It wasn’t anything against Beverley. His brain didn’t think about how it might look from the outside sending the older woman to live off scraps.”
