Uba Sani Celebrates 'Best Governor' Award by Honoring the People of Kaduna

Governor Uba Sani has pledged that the recognition he received as the best performing governor in Nigeria will motivate him to serve the people of Kaduna State with even greater dedication and energy.

Last Thursday, the Democracy Heroes Award Africa honored Governor Uba Sani with the best performing governor award during a vibrant ceremony held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

Receiving the award on his behalf, Hon. Abubakar Buba, the Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources, stated that the recognition is well deserved.

The Commissioner emphasized that “Governor Uba Sani’s significant achievements in infrastructural development, which span both urban and rural areas, make this award a fitting acknowledgment of a leader who has accomplished so much in a short period.”

“In just 30 months in office, Governor Uba Sani has initiated 88 groundbreaking projects totaling 785 kilometers across various regions of the state. Of these, forty-five projects have been completed. This achievement is unparalleled in the history of Kaduna State,” he added.

According to Hon. Buba, Governor Uba Sani pairs infrastructural development with effective governance “as demonstrated by his policies of inclusion, equitable development, and transparency.”

Buba praised the Democracy Heroes Award Africa for its thorough evaluation process and for presenting Governor Uba Sani with this prestigious accolade.

The Commissioner noted that the Governor has dedicated the award to the people of Kaduna State for granting him the mandate to lead them in the 2023 election.

“The Governor acknowledged that this mandate has provided him with the opportunity to carry out the commendable projects that earned him this recognition,” he concluded.
