Former Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has shared insights about raising his 70-year-old daughter and five-year-old son.
The 95-year-old has four children, with Deborah being his oldest from his first marriage to Ivy Bamford.

He has opened up about the experience of having children at such different stages of life, noting that Deborah and Ace are 65 years apart.
In an interview with the German outlet Bild , Ecclestone stated: “Ace is a wonderful boy. He’s bright, curious, and interested in everything.”
His wife Fabiana added: “It’s working very well. Bernie and I are a team, and we’re raising Ace together.
“When I become a little impatient, Bernie calmly explains to him that he can’t watch TV for half an hour until he finishes his homework.”
Reflecting on the challenge of raising a five-year-old while also being a father to a 70-year-old, Ecclestone remarked: “It’s quite remarkable.
“You look at your oldest and youngest and realize how much has transpired in between.”
The mogul also revealed that he has only four friends—three of whom have passed away.

Ecclestone named his late friends Jochen Rindt, Max Mosley, and Niki Lauda as his closest companions.
Rindt was a German-born Austrian driver who tragically died in 1970 while racing at Monza.
Mosley passed away in 2021 after serving as the president of F1’s governing body, the FIA.
Lauda, who also died in 2021, was a three-time F1 world champion.
Ecclestone then revealed his fourth friend, saying: “This is (former Renault team principal) Flavio Briatore. He is the only one still alive.
“When his yacht was seized by authorities in Italy in 2010 for undeclared fuel tax, I purchased it at auction.
“I later sold it to Flavio for the auction price plus one dollar.”
