The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Apa Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Abel Aboje, who died on Thursday.
Reacting to the news, the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, expressed deep sadness, describing Aboje’s death as both shocking and heartbreaking.
Moro said the late party chairman was not just a political ally but also a close friend who showed unwavering commitment to his causes.
He noted that Aboje’s demise was a personal loss to him.
The senator extended condolences to Aboje’s immediate family, the PDP in Apa, and the people of the local government.
He prayed for God to grant them the strength to bear the painful loss and for the soul of the deceased to find eternal rest.
