BEN Affleck has revealed that he did not wear a prosthetic for the Gone Girl full-frontal shower scene.
The scene took place between Ben and his co-star towards the end of the , where they can both be seen getting into the shower together.
Her character Amy had been missing and suddenly returned home covered in blood.
Once back at home, Rosamund’s character went for a shower and asked Ben’s character Nick to join her.
She made sure he was entirely naked before he stepped into the shower to make sure he was not wired.
Showing off his bare backside in the movie, and a little more, fans swooned over the scene at the time.
, some viewers were convinced Ben wore a prosthetic to cover up his private parts.
But now Ben has revealed that he did not wear anything to cover up, and instead bared all.
Speaking about the scene, Ben told Variety in a recent interview: “I wore no prosthesis.
“I’ve only worn one in one film, Hollywoodland. It was a nose.”
Gone Girl was directed by David Fincher and adapted from the 2012 novel written by Gillian Flynn.
Elsewhere in his chat with Variety, Ben spoke about the “respect” he has for his second ex-wife, .
Ben, who was a producer on his ex-wife’s movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, was asked why she gets “overlooked” in Hollywood.
“I’m biased. I have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for what she can do,” he said.
Ben and Jennifer married in Las Vegas in July 2022 after rekindling their early-2000s romance.
But Jennifer filed for divorce in August 2024, and the separation was finalised in January 2025.
