BEAR Grylls has revealed he’s “always said no” when approached for Strictly Come Dancing – before confessing the one reason that could finally tempt him onto the ballroom floor.

The survival expert admitted he’s repeatedly turned down the glittering , but hinted there is a single factor that might just change his mind.

He made the admission while appearing on , where Tessa Peake-Jones and joined and on the famous sofa.

The chat soon turned to Strictly, with Bear lifting the lid on why he’s resisted the sequins.

Roman asked: “I mean, Stictly Bear, ever fancy it?”

Bear replied: “I’ve got two left feet… always honoured to be asked whenever I’ve been asked.

“But I would be hopeless. Stick to the main job.”

Vicky added: “I was like a fridge with arms give it a go. I’d love to see you on it next year.”

Bear answered: “I would love to be able to dance. My wife dances beautifully and I always feel I slightly let her down when she drags me on the dance floor. I can just feel myself starting to sweat.”

Alex chimed in: “I think we can convince you. There’s a little bit of arm-twisting to be done there.”

Vicky participated in Strictly Come Dancing in 2025, partnered with professional dancer .

She reached the middle of the competition before being eliminated in a surprise dance-off before the Blackpool week.

Meanwhile, Bear Grylls’s show after just one season.

It saw adventure guru put stars such as judge and singer put through their paces in the Costa Rican jungle.

But even the star power of hosts couldn’t save it.

Bear says it came down to cash, and that the show was ditched after an excruciatingly close vote by bosses.

He said: “I loved Bear Hunt. It actually did so well. It went to the No1 show on Netflix in the UK and sat there for two weeks — epic.

“Netflix were really happy. But it was a big, expensive show.

“There was a change at Netflix, high up, and everyone likes a new project. And I would say that was a 49-51 vote, and it just came down on the wrong side of that.

“I was sad it didn’t come back, but Holly was great to work with. We had so much fun.”

His next project, Bear Grylls: Wild Reckoning, which will kick off on One next Monday at 2pm, and on iPlayer.
