Baseball fan plunges more than 20 feet from stands at MLB game as players seen praying

A BASEBALL fan has plunged 20 feet as he fell from the stands at a MLB game.

The accident happened during the contest between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs at PNC Park on Wednesday night.

Footage shared on social media captured the moment the man fell from the bleachers.

The spectator had fallen onto the warning track and staffers from both teams rushed toward him.

The incident happened during the seventh inning of the game.

He was treated for around five minutes before being carted away.

Pittsburgh officials said he was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family,”; the Pittsburgh Pirates said.
