The happy couple wed in an intimate ceremony attended by just 50 guests, with his daughter Arabella, 17, there to support her famous father.

Now James has opened up about getting married again after his split from ex-wife Annabelle.

The star told The Mirror : “Was it love at first sight?

“Pretty much, yeah. I had split up from my wife, my daughter’s mum. And I was just ready.”

The happy couple even work together as Ed is employed as the Toys, Trains and Juvenalia Specialist at James’ auction house, where his ex-wife Annabelle also used to work.

In the new interview, James also let slip that the couple nearly ran off to America to get married.

They had planned on getting wed in the mountains of National Park.

But in the end decided not to elope as they wanted his daughter to be included in their special day.

James also added that his daughter now calls both him and Ed “Dad”.

“He (Ed) and Arabella get on so well. I’m very lucky,” he told the outlet.

The wedding came after James had a serious health scare.

“I’ve had two cardiac arrests. I had one in 2013 and I had another one in 2019,” he said.

“Last year, I had two instances when they said, your heart rate went up to over 250 beats per minute.

“That was very close to a cardiac arrest. And they said, ‘What were you doing on May 8 and September 11?’ September 11 I was getting married.”

James then admitted: “My cardiologist said, ‘You should probably not do those sorts of things.’

“I said, ‘Well, I’m not intending to get married again, but there will be more charity auctions!'”
