BARCELONA and Inter Milan clash in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final encounter at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona vs Inter Milan preview
All eyes will be on the Nou Camp as European heavyweights Barcelona and Inter Milan collide in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
Between them, the two sides boast eight European crowns, though recent successes have been sparse – Barcelona last lifted the trophy in 2015, while Inter's most recent triumph came back in 2010.
There is also history between the pair at this stage.
Back in 2010, Jose Mourinho’s Inter stunned Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning Barcelona, knocking them out en route to lifting the trophy in Madrid.
This time, Barcelona come into the tie riding a wave of momentum after clinching the Copa del Rey on Saturday, edging out bitter rivals Real Madrid after extra time to claim a record-extending 32nd title.
Home advantage should also prove crucial, with Barca winning five and drawing one of their six home matches in this season’s competition, racking up 21 goals along the way.
The treble remains firmly in Hansi Flick's sights, with the Catalans also sitting four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga with just five games remaining.
In stark contrast, Inter head to Spain desperately seeking form.
Simone Inzaghi’s side suffered a third straight defeat at the weekend, falling to Roma without scoring – the third successive match they have failed to find the net, managing just six shots on target across 270 minutes of action.
Sunday’s defeat also saw Antonio Conte’s Napoli move four points clear at the Serie A summit with only four games left to play.
However, Inter’s European form offers hope.
Inzaghi's men have lost just twice in their last 20 Champions League outings and have conceded only five goals in the competition this season, keeping eight clean sheets along the way.

Out of sight
Inter manager Simone Inzaghi described it as having been “a very bad week” for his side following defeats to arch-rivals AC Milan and Roma.
And it looks as though it could get even worse against Hansi Flick's free-scoring Barcelona, who are riding a wave of confidence following their Copa del Rey success over Real Madrid.
Barca have scored 21 goals in their last six home matches (W5, D1) and have netted 3+ goals on a colossal 29 occasions this season. A wounded and dreadfully out-of-form Inter could struggle here.

Raphinha
Can Raphinha continue his incredible Champions League form? We think so.
The Brazilian, 28, finds himself as the frontrunner for this year's Ballon d'Or award following an incredible campaign.
He's struck 30 goals and provided 23 assists in 50 games in all competitions – with 12 goals and seven assists in the UCL. If Barcelona score a handful – as we predict – he should be right in the thick of the action.
