Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta has insisted that whoever wins the 2025 Ballon d’Or on Monday night deserves it.
The Spaniard spoke ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday evening at the Théâtre du Châtelet.
He was asked to give his prediction for the Men’s Ballon d’Or and who deserves the award between Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.
Iniesta told El Chiringuito TV: “I don’t know, I don’t know who is going to win.
“But whoever wins deserves it. Lamine, Ousmane? Who is the best player in the world? There are many.”
Both Dembélé and Yamal delivered impressive performances for their respective clubs over the past year.
