Paris Saint-Germain forward, Ousmane Dembele, thanked three clubs he has played for in the past after winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or on Monday night in Paris.
Recall that Dembele beat the likes of Lamine Yamal and PSG team-mate Vitinha to win the Ballon d’Or.
While receiving the award from Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, Dembele thanked Stade Rennes, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona for playing a role in his career so far.
“Thank you to all the clubs I have played for: Stade Rennes, Borussia Dortmund, and the club I always dreamed of playing for, Barcelona,” Dembele said.
Dembele was exceptional for PSG in the last year.
The 28-year-old won all the major trophies available, including the UEFA Champions League and the French Ligue 1 title with the Parisians.
Dembele scored 39 goals and registered 14 assists in all competitions for Luis Enrique’s side last season.
