Do players receive prize money for hitting 180s at the World Darts Championship?

Players at the World Darts Championship do not receive additional money for scoring 180s.

However, for every 180 scored at Ally Pally, Paddy Power will contribute £1,000 to Prostate Cancer UK as part of the ‘The Even Bigger 180’ initiative.

The bookmaker is also offering a bonus for every nine-darter achieved during the World Darts Championship.

For each perfect leg at Ally Pally, £180,000 will be equally divided among the player who accomplishes it, Prostate Cancer UK, and one randomly selected fan present in the audience during the session when the nine-darter is thrown.

In the initial two years of Paddy Power's sponsorship of the World Darts Championship, an impressive £2 million has been raised to support Prostate Cancer UK’s innovative research project.
