DARTS fans were completely baffled to see a Formula One car on stage at the Bahrain Masters.
The 2026 season got underway on Wednesday as eight PDC stars took on eight representatives from Asia.

star kicked off the competition against fan-favourite at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, but fans were quickly distracted by a bizarre feature in the background.
An car, draped in the colours of the Bahrain flag, was on display on the right side of the stage.
Fans were left completely baffled, with one person writing: “About 12 people in the venue and an F1 car on stage, Bahrain darts masters is truly back.”

A third said: “The F1 car in the corner of the stage will always be my favourite part of the Bahrain Darts Masters, so random.”
While a fourth wrote: “Right… Just turned on the #Bahrain Masters darts. Whats that on tv and why the f**k is there a F1 car just sat in the corner of the stage?”
Price went on to beat Sakai 6-2 in the opening match.
All eight PDC stars beat their respective opponents in their first-to-six games.

After the match, the Nuke joked there was “not a chance” he would still be playing professional darts at the age of 71 like his opponent.

“He’s just class and I wonder when he’s going to retire but he’s still going very strong in the practice room as well.”
