A WOMAN has been arrested following the tragic death of a baby girl.
The 25-year-old has been taken into police custody under suspicion of child neglect.

Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of a welfare concern yesterday morning.
Cops arrived at an address in Fallowfield, Manchester where a baby girl was discovered.
Emergency services rushed her to hospital, but despite their best efforts she sadly died.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Wrench said: “This is a devastating incident and news of a police investigation will cause shock in the local community.
“Please be assured that we are keeping an open mind as we pursue several lines of enquiry, working closely with our partners to understand the full circumstances surrounding how this death occurred.
“We are doing everything possible to provide answers for this baby and their family.
“Anyone with information which may assist our investigation is asked to contact police on 101 or via our website quoting log 825 of 07/05/26.”
