ARSENAL have been warned that Argentina star Julian Alvarez is not for sale this summer.

The Spanish club’s president, Enrique Cerezo, insists the striker is a key player for them and won’t be leaving.
Cerezo told reporters in Spain: “He’s an Atletico Madrid player and he has a contract with us.
“He’s worth a lot because he’s with us – and he is not for sale.”
Cerezo was speaking on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the second leg of Atletico’s Copa del Rey semi-final with at the Spotify .
Before the game, which Barca won 3-0 but Atletico progressed to the final 4-3 on aggregate, directors from both clubs met for lunch.
Atletico’s director of professional football, Mateu Alemany, was at the meal and echoed Cerezo’s words about Alvarez’s future.
The striker has also been linked with Barcelona, but Alemany revealed that was not mentioned when the directors met on Tuesday.
He said told broadcaster Movistar: “Not a word on Julian Alvarez, his name hasn’t come out and it won’t.”
Alemany was also tight-lipped on the future of Antoine Griezmann, who has been linked with a move to MLS side Orlando City.
Alemany said before the game with Barca: “There is nothing new, he’s in the starting eleven, let’s hope he has a great game and gives us a lot like he did in the first leg.”
