TAMMY ABRAHAM popped up with a dramatic late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw against Leeds United.

It was a crushing blow for Leeds and their survival hopes after the new man at Villa Park powered in a header in the 88th minute to keep their slim title hopes alive.

Earlier on, Anton Stach produced a goal of the season contender midway through the first half to put Leeds ahead.

His stunning curled effort flew over the wall and into the top left-hand corner to trigger wild celebrations from the away side.

Villa did have the ball in the back of the net through Ollie Watkins after Emiliano Buendia hit the post, but the striker was flagged offside.

But eventually their pressure paid as a corner was headed down by Ezri Konsa and Abraham converted.
