Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has condemned comments made by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, against the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar.

DAILY POST recalls that Babachir, while alleging that the ADC primary election was rigged, “Kachalla.”

Atiku’s camp had, however, denied Babachir’s claim that the ADC candidate manipulated the outcome of the primary election.

Reacting to the former SGF’s claim, Shehu Sani, in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, said associating Atiku with banditry is disrespectful.

He wrote: “The parting of ways between HE the Waziri and his Adamawa political associate is an indication of the rickety condition of the opposition.

“But calling the Waziri ‘Kachalla’ and associating him with banditry is utterly disrespectful and unacceptable.”
