A BRITISH tourist has claimed she was raped by a police officer while she was handcuffed in the back of his car.
She claimed three cops picked her up on a street in Aubagne, a French town near Marseille before one assaulted her in the back of their vehicle.
The woman is understood to have filed a complaint on September 10 stating she was detained by cops for “obvious drunkenness”.
She claimed she was handcuffed and instructed to get inside the cop’s car before one sat next to her and kissed her.
After kissing her, she alleged the officer then “penetrated her”.
One officer has been charged with “rape and sexual assault by a person abusing the authority conferred on them by their position” and remains in custody.
While another was charged with “willful failure to prevent a or offense against the integrity of a person” and was placed under judicial supervision.
A third cop has been placed under assisted witness status.
