The former Arsenal manager, now FIFA’s chief of global football development, stated: “England are among the favorites.”
“They are always close to success. They need to take that next step. They possess the talent to win.”
“Objectively speaking, I believe France are the clear favorites for one reason.”
“They have more world-class strikers than any other nation. The depth and quality of their bench will make a significant difference.”
France, featuring talents such as Kylian Mbappe, Hugo Ekitike, Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Marcus Thuram, and Randal Kolo Muani, are one of the top four seeds along with England, meaning the two teams cannot face each other until the final.
Meanwhile, American football legend is hoping that England does not win the World Cup.
During the tournament, on July 4, the United States will celebrate its 250th anniversary of independence from Great Britain.
Lalas, who has 96 caps for the United States, remarked: “As an American, it pains me to admit this publicly, but England are indeed very strong.”
“They are coming to our soil next summer for the World Cup, coinciding with our 250th birthday.”
“If they bring it home next summer, we cannot allow that to happen.”
“We absolutely cannot let that occur, but they are undeniably very good.”
The England manager arrived on Thursday for the draw, which is expected to take about 90 minutes to complete.
The Three Lions won all eight of their group matches without conceding a single goal, and the FA chief executive stated: “Thomas has come in and hit the ground running brilliantly.”
“You can feel the positive energy in the camp, and the players are responding very well to him.”
“We are eagerly anticipating the tournament.”
“We understand that for European teams, the heat will present a significant challenge, but we will do everything possible to prepare.”
“Logistically, this tournament will be challenging for every team. The distances, climate variations, and altitude changes add extra difficulties.”
“However, this applies to everyone, and we must adapt and do our best.”
Once the draw is completed, officials will spring into action to plan the tournament.

Currently, their preferred base would be in while England plans to hold a pre-tournament training camp at the home of in Florida.
Bullingham commented: “We believe we have a solid plan in place and have prepared for every possible scenario based on our draw.”
“We have developed a strategy, as every leading nation will, to acclimatize and maximize our chances.”
“I think we have an excellent team that has devised some outstanding base camps, and we will continue this trend as we look forward to the tournament.”
“We have had remarkable squads over the years.”
“I believe our current squad is exceptional, and we will be among the top teams.”
“However, there are many other fantastic teams as well.”
“So, we cannot control anything except to ensure we do everything we can to perform well.”
Wenger also mentioned that lessons have been learned from the Club World Cup last summer.
He said: “We learned a
