MAX DOWMAN may be the man getting all the headlines, but there’s another teenage sensation waiting in the wings at Arsenal.

Luis Munoz has been tipped to be the next big thing out of Hale End, and the youngster is already breaking records.

Munoz, 14, made European history earlier this season when

The talented attacking midfielder was just 13 years and 11 months old when he took part in the Under-19s’ 4-2 win over in November.

Now Munoz is making strides toward the first team and even trained with the senior players twice last week.

Dowman is the only other player to have trained with the first team as an U14 player in recent years.

Munoz is a superb runner with the ball and has an impressive shot on his right foot, something unusual out of the Hale End academy.

So many of Arsenal’s academy graduates in recent years have been left-footed, with the likes of Dowman, , and all preferring their left peg.

Arsenal youth coaches have already earmarked Munoz as one of the most exciting talents coming through the ranks.

And he isn’t just impressing for the Gunners either.

As well as helping his school to victory in last season’s English Schools FA Under-14 Final at , the rising star is also part of the England youth setup.

Munoz, who has dual nationality for and Panama, has already represented the Three Lions at U15s level four times this season.

As well as playing in midfield, Munoz is sometimes deployed as a forward in similar fashion to Dowman.

Despite technically being an U14s player, Munoz has regularly been used for Arsenal’s U16s this season.

He is the next in a long line of youngsters breaking through at Arsenal, with already trusting SIX different teenagers to make their debuts for the Gunners this season.

, Andre Harriman-Annous, Ife Ibrahim, and Brando Bailey-Joseph have all made their senior bows this term alongside Dowman.
