Arsenal fans claim Premier League is ‘RIGGED’ as Mikel Arteta’s man are handed nightmare fixtures list

ARSENAL fans have jokingly claimed the club’s opening Premier League fixtures for next season have been “RIGGED”;.

The Emirates faithful on Wednesday morning.

And ‘s troops, who have finished the last THREE seasons in second place, will face an incredibly tough opening run.

The north Londoners will kick off their campaign on August 17 with a trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United, who will no doubt field a slew of new signings.

They’ll host newly-promoted Leeds United the following weekend, with a trip to Anfield to take on defending champions Liverpool on the menu for August 30.

The Gunners will welcome Nottingham Forest to the Emirates on September 13 following the first international break.

And they’ll close out the month with tricky ties against ‘s and Carabao Cup holders Newcastle United at the Emirates and St James’ Park, respectively.

The Emirates faithful were left stunned by the team’s nightmare start to the season, so much so that some of them joked that the fixtures, which are COMPILED BY A COMPUTER, are fixed.

On wrote on X: “The league [is] trying to set us up.”;

Another said: “Na this league is rigged.”;

And another said: “Them fixtures are rigged.”;

One remarked: “Nobody can tell me this isn’t rigged.”;

Another seemingly frustrated Gooner chimed in: “Rigged.”;

None of the Emirates faithful claiming that the fixtures have been “rigged”; and have provided a shred of proof to substantiate their outrageous claims.

Arsenal’s tough opening run of fixtures has somewhat been softened by their run-in for the campaign.

The north Londoners will play Fulham at home, West Ham at the London Stadium, Burnley at the Emirates and Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their final four league matches of the season.
