ARSENAL pulled off a second-half comeback to see off Leeds United and pile the pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table.
The Gunners were desperate for a response after losing 3-0 to Brighton last time out and had to work hard to earn it.

‘s 55th-minute goal caused panic at the Emirates, but ‘s side showed fight to turn things around.
turned in an equaliser when he got on the end of a header.
And Bruno Guimaraes came off the bench to net the winner with a delightful strike from outside the box.
Here’s how SunSport Arsenal Reporter Joshua Hall rated each individual Arsenal performance…
DAVID RAYA – 8
was in the crowd at the Emirates and would have been proud of some of the saves Raya made.
He did incredibly well not to run over the line with the ball in his hand when he plucked ‘s header out of the air.
And pulled off a stunning stop from point blank range to deny Gabriel Gudmundsson just before half time.
His impact can sometimes go under the radar but this was another top showing.

BEN WHITE – 7
Put in a solid performance on his return from injury, but still feels like he is just a level below Jurrien Timber.
That said, his header to find for the equaliser was quick thinking and an important moment in the game.
EZRI KONSA – 7
A surprise inclusion, given he pulled out of England’s camp with an injury earlier this week.
Konsa looked impressive when he was tidying up attempted balls in behind from Leeds and has been filling in for brilliantly.
GABRIEL MAGALHAES – 6
Knew he was in for a battle with Leeds’ physical side, but dealt with it well.
It wasn’t a standout performance from the Brazilian, but it was assured enough to keep Arsenal secure in the late stages.

RICCARDO CALAFIORI – 7
His overlapping runs were slightly less effective given Noni Madueke’s lack of threat when cutting in on his weaker foot.
But he was still popping up in dangerous areas when he could, which paid off when he found himself inside the box to knock home the equaliser.
Calafiori has been one of the most exciting players in the league this season.
DECLAN RICE – 7
Back in action after missing England’s international fixtures due to load management.
At times he took it upon himself to try and drive forward with the ball at his feet.
It was his clever flick that teed up for Arsenal’s second.
MYLES LEWIS-SKELLY – 7
Just a few months ago Lewis-Skelly was an out-of-favour left-back, now he is starting in midfield for England and Arsenal.
This was another assured performance that saw him draw countless fouls from the Leeds players and help Arsenal transition from defence to attack effectively.
MARTIN ODEGAARD – 7
The Arsenal captain has been in electric form since the start of the season and continued it with Norway during the break.
This performance didn’t quite follow the same pattern, but he still kept Arsenal ticking on the ball.

BUKAYO SAKA – 6
Struggled to beat his man down the right side for large parts of the game.
Saka still seems to be lacking that electric burst of pace he had a few seasons ago, which is hurting his threat when he has the ball at his feet.
NONI MADUEKE – 7
Starting on the left wing in place of the injured Christos Tzolis.
Arteta opted for Madeueke over Ebere Eze, who has failed to impress when played out wide since joining Arsenal last summer.
A surprisingly positive first half saw him find Havertz with two dangerous crosses.
But he was caught sleeping and allowed James Justin to drift off him to score Leeds’ opening goal.
The England an made up for it by playing a cross into the box a few moments later to tee up Arsenal’s equaliser.
An up and down performance that ultimately showed he can contribute in Tzolis’ absence.

KAI HAVERTZ – 6
Arteta’s thoughts on were made very clear when he chose to start a half-fit Havertz over the Swede.
Had to do better than his tame header into the chest of in the first half.
A disappointing showing from the German.
SUBSTITUTES
VIKTOR GYOKERES (for Havertz, 63 mins) – 7
Drove forward well and was looking to cause problems.
A positive cameo after being left out from the start despite his form for Sweden in the international break.
BRUNO GUIMARAES (for Lewis-Skelly, 63 mins) – 8
As soon as he came on, Bruno was looking to be involved in the game and make a difference.
His goal was brilliantly taken and the perfect example of what he can offer the team.
JURRIEN TIMBER (for White, 63 mins) – 7
Sured things up off the bench.
