Piers Morgan calls for Arsenal to seal Cristiano Ronaldo transfer from Man Utd and fire them to Premier League glory

PIERS MORGAN wants Arsenal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo as he believes he could fire the Gunners to the Premier League title.

Ronaldo’s Manchester United future is in doubt after the striker revealed he felt betrayed by the club in an explosive interview with Morgan.

He also said he feels annoyed at being treated like a “black sheep” and no longer respects Erik ten Hag.

Many United fans feel there is no way back for Ronaldo and Morgan believes the time is right for Arsenal to make a move.

Asked on Twitter if he hoped Arsenal would sign CR7, Morgan responded: “Yes, actually. He’s exactly what we need. Ronaldo and Gabriel Jesus would take us to the title.”

Morgan is a huge Ronaldo fan and has repeatedly made calls for the Gunners to sign him this year.

He feels the United legend has not got the respect he deserves since he returned to the club, particularly from young players.

And when there was speculation Ronaldo could leave in the summer, Morgan told him it was time to make the move to North London.

But a transfer never came to fruition with the Red Devils refusing to let the Portuguese leave.

The club’s stance could now change but it is not clear if Arsenal or Mikel Arteta are interested in Ronaldo.

Several clubs have turned down the opportunity to sign the striker including Napoli and Marseille.

Chelsea also rejected Ronaldo in the summer but he could be offered a fresh start at former club Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese side are reportedly planning to make a move but would require Ronaldo accepts a significant wage cut to complete a deal.
