Arsenal facing tough return after World Cup with Amazon Prime rescheduling Man City clash ‘early in New Year’

ARSENAL face a tough test soon after the World Cup iwth a potentia; January fron hell.

That’s because Amazon Prime are rescheduling their clash against title rivals Man City “early in the New Year”.

Arsenal will have their game against Man City rescheduled for the New Year, says Amazon

The announcement was made as Amazon broadcast several exciting Premier League matches on Wednesday.

But Arsenal vs Man City, originally meant to take place today, was not among them.

It was postponed to accommodate the North London club’s previous called-off Europa League clash with PSV Eindhoven.

The Gunners were scheduled to play PSV on Thursday September 15, but the match got postponed due to concerns over police resources following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

And Arsenal were told that they would have to complete their Europa League group games before Thursday November 3, or risk surrendering three points.

But Prem chiefs agreed with Arsenal to move their City game so that the PSV encounter could happen.

It now means the Gunners are set to collide with City early in 2023.

January is already a tough month for Mikel Arteta’s title hopefuls.

They first play Newcastle before facing off against rivals Tottenham and Man United.

Throwing potential title rivals City into the mix will see Arsenal’s squad pushed to its limits.

And with numerous players jetting off the World Cup next month, it remains to be seen how many of the squad will be fully fit by that point.
