Piero Hincapie opened his account for the Gunners after half-time but there was a familiar negative as failed to threaten the Wolves backline.
The hosts got back into the game through a stunner from Hugo Bueno as Hincapie allowed a free shot from the edge of the box.
Arsenal capitulated in stoppage time with a defensive scramble that saw the .
Here is how SunSport’s Simon Collings rated the players.
David Raya – 4
Involved in a huge error at the end as he dropped a cross on the head of Gabriel. The mix-up led to Tom Edozie’s strike going in off Riccardo Calafiori and into the net.

Jurrien Timber – 6
Took a knock early on and seemed to be struggling for a bit. Recovered and put in a solid display. Kept Wolves livewire Mateus Mane quiet all game.
William Saliba – 6
One of only four players to keep their place from the team that thumped Wigan last weekend. Had a good old battle with Tolu Arokodare, who was a handful, and made a vital interception to stop a cross getting to the Wolves striker.
Gabriel – 5
Having a great game as his lovely assist allowed Hincapie to score. Involved in a howler at the end, though, as his mix-up with Raya allowed Wolves to score a late equaliser.
Piero Hincapie – 7
Got the nod over , who now looks like he has a fight to get his place back. Took his goal like a seasoned striker and calmly slotted the finish. Perhaps a bit too slow getting out to Bueno for his strike, though.

Martin Zubimendi – 6
Form has dipped from earlier this season, which is no surprise given the number of games he has played. Neat and tidy on the ball, here, and kept things ticking over.
Declan Rice – 7
Made his mark early on by assisting Saka for Arsenal’s opening goal – but should have done better with his own chance on the edge of the box shortly after. Helped Arsenal dominate possession.
Noni Madueke – 6
Deservedly kept his place after scoring three goals in five games coming into this clash. Did not set the world alight here, though. Had one shot saved in the first half and skewed a header wide, too.
Bukayo Saka – 7
Started as a No10 for the second game in a row – and showed why Arteta will be tempted to kick him there. Opened the scoring inside five minutes with a header and worked tirelessly without the ball as well.

Gabriel Martinelli – 5
Almost pounced on a rebound from Madueke’s shot soon after Arsenal had gone ahead, and floated a decent cross to the back post. He was pretty wasteful overall, however, and failed to make an impact.
Viktor Gyokeres – 5
The Swede has done well against ‘weaker’ opposition this season, but he was anonymous for large parts of the game. Did not trouble Wolves with his movement and was hooked for Jesus.

Subs
Gabriel Jesus (Gyokeres 65’) – 6
Could get the nod on Sunday, given Gyokeres’ poor showing. Buzzed around like a wasp at a picnic as he pressed Wolves’ back four.
Eberechi Eze (Madueke 65’)- 6
Will have been disappointed to be on the bench after a good showing last weekend. Tried to put himself about when brought on and made a few runs forward.
Leandro Trossard (Saka 73’) – 5
He is usually so sure in possession, but he was sloppy on the ball this time. Gifted the ball when Arsenal needed to be calm.
Riccardo Calafiori (Trossard 90’)- 4
Off the bench and had a nightmare moment as his own goal gifted Wolves a point.
Subs not used: Arrizabalaga, White, Lewis-Skelly, Mosquera, Norgaard
