OLIVER GLASNER believes that Crystal Palace playing four matches within eight days would be “irresponsible.”

They wish to schedule their quarter-final match against Palace on December 16.

Glasner’s team will host a match two days earlier and play KuPS in the Conference League on December 18, followed by a game at Leeds three days later.

The Austrian manager expressed his frustration: “I cannot believe this situation won't be resolved.”

“It would be irresponsible to play on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

“It’s about the welfare of the players.”

“I raised this issue three months ago.”

“There are individuals responsible for this.”

“This is what they are paid to handle.”

Officials are still considering a date for the match but prefer December 23 or even Christmas Eve.

The Arsenal manager, whose team travels on December 21, stated: “Every decision we make regarding fixtures must prioritize two main factors — player welfare and then supporter interests.”

“That’s the bottom line.”
