CESC FABREGAS will be back at the Emirates this summer as Arsenal are hosting Como in a pre-season friendly.

The Gunners are finalising preparations for the new campaign as they look to defend .

And their final friendly before the Community Shield against on August 16 will be a clash with Como.

Arsenal have been in talks with the Italian side over a friendly at the Emirates and those negotiations have now been concluded.

Mikel Arteta’s side will host Como on August 12 and it will mean a return to North London for Fabregas, 39.

The former Arsenal midfielder manages Como and last season.

Como will be the Gunners’ final friendly of what is a quiet pre-season as they have 15 players away at the .

Arteta and the club duly decided not to go on a far-flung overseas tour and have kept things low-key instead.

Arsenal will begin training next month and have their first friendly against Girona in Spain on August 1.

Four days later they will face Real Betis in Dublin, before flying back to London to in the Emirates Cup on August 9.

Como will be Arsenal’s final friendly before they take on City in Cardiff for the season’s opener.

The Gunners’ first game of the Premier League campaign is on Friday, August 21 when they host Coventry.

Fabregas made 303 appearances for , notching 57 goals and 97 assists along the way.

The Spaniard got his hands on the FA Cup and Community Shield during his eight-year spell in North London.
