ARSENAL are into their first Champions League final in 20 years, and only their second in the history of the club.

‘s side haven’t lost a single game during their European campaign this term and are now just 90 minutes in Budapest away from etching their name into Arsenal folklore.

The Gunners have dispatched a host of Europe’s top sides en route to the final, but will now anxiously watch on this evening to find out who they will have to topple at the Puskas Arena later this month.

and face off in Germany tonight for that second spot in the final.

When asked about which side he would prefer to face in the final, star man told CBS Sports: “You know deep down who we’d want to face in the final.”

Over their history, Arsenal and PSG have met just seven times, with both teams sharing an identical record.

Luis Enrique’s side is top heavy, and would present a challenge for Arsenal’s defence given the attacking threat they carry.

A stacked front line that can rotate between the likes of , , Desire Doue and would likely be Arsenal’s sternest test of the season.

However, PSG are not the same side this season as they were last year, and their attacking style often leaves them vulnerable at the back.

Enrique’s men have already conceded 21 GOALS in the this season.

By comparison, Arsenal have let in just SIX in their 14 European clashes this term.

PSG have also been on the receiving end of a few shocks this season, including a draw with Newcastle and a defeat to Sporting.

However, it was Arsenal who came out on top when the two teams last met in this year’s league phase.

Mikel Arteta’s side blew Bayern away, earning a 3-1 home victory in a dominant display at the Emirates Stadium without , and .

But Arsenal fans will know that a league phase win doesn’t count for much when it comes to the latter stages of the competition.

They beat PSG in last season’s league phase, only for the Frenchmen to beat them when it mattered most in the semi-finals.

It is not just Bayern’s brilliant record against Arsenal that should be concerning, but also the record of their main man.

has netted 15 times against Arsenal during his career, his third best tally against any club.

The captain would surely have some extra motivation to get one over on his former North London foes, too.

However, Arsenal have plenty to take confidence from when facing ‘s Bayern Munich.

Not least is their use of their set-piece threat against the club, who boast a terrible record from dead balls this season.

In the league, Bayern have conceded 43 PER CENT of all their goals from set pieces and penalties.
