"Ex-Arsenal Star Cesc Fabregas Hints at Shocking Max Dowman Transfer to Como and Predicts Teen's Bright Future"

CESC FABREGAS backed Max Dowman to overcome the challenges of being a sensational young talent at Arsenal, and joked he would love to bring him to Como.

The Spanish midfielder, of course, was once in Dowman’s position himself, becoming ‘s youngest-ever first team player, aged 16 years and 177 days in 2003.

He spent eight years in North London, making 303 appearances across all competitions before returning to where he had played as a child.

And now, after returning to Arsenal as the manager of Como, Fabregas was full of praise for the next generation of Hale End stars who inflicted defeat on his side.

Fabregas said: “It’s amazing. It’s amazing because that’s what it’s all about.

“Hale End does an amazing job. There is a lot of talent, but if you don’t play this talent, if you don’t give trust to this talent, it gets lost in the process and it’s a big shame.

“I had the chance to say well done to them, but keep going.

“Keep going, keep pushing yourself, because it’s a big and long career, full of ups and downs, because they need to accept that not everything will be easy. They need to compete.

“They play for one of the best clubs and teams in the world now, where even Max with the talent that he’s got, it’s a challenge.

“It’s not easy to play at Arsenal because you’re challenging, you’re playing in your position against some of the best players in the world. So, it’s really good, really good.

“And if they want to give us some players as well… we can take them.”

Dowman played six games as a 16-year-old in the Premier League in his debut year, scoring Arsenal’s goal of the season in the process, but has pairing and in front of him competing for minutes.

But going out on loan looks unlikely, even to a side like Fabregas’ Como, with the youngster loved by Arteta as he looks to embed Dowman into Arsenal’s future.

Fabregas also insisted that his transition to being a senior player at Arsenal was helped by the fact had “proper champions” around him, something Dowman perhaps doesn’t quite have yet.

The Como boss added: “Of course it helped [having Vieira, Bergkamp and Pires in the squad when he joined].

“I always say that I was so lucky, because I wasn’t alone. Philippe Senderos was 18 years old, Seb Larsson, Johan Djourou, I was one of the three or four young players in the squad, but the rest, you can remember who they were, you know?

“They were proper, proper champions, and I was so lucky because of how they pushed me, how they educated me, and how they treated me, I will never forget that.”

It remains to be seen if he will go down a similar path to Fabregas and move elsewhere after feeling he has done everything possible at Arsenal, or if he will take the Bukayo Saka route and spend the finest years of his career at the Emirates.
