Army arrests suspected terrorist collaborator in Borno

Troops of the Nigerian Army under Sector 3 of the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator and logistics supplier in Baga town, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.

The arrest was the outcome of an intelligence-led operation conducted on May 5 by the Sector 3 Military Intelligence Battalion (MIB) in collaboration with hybrid forces.

The development was disclosed by security analyst, Zagazola Makama, in a post on his official X handle on Tuesday night.

According to Makama, the suspect was found in possession of a mobile phone, the sum of ₦335,000, and other undisclosed items believed to be linked to terrorist logistics activities.

He is currently in custody and undergoing further investigation.
