The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, on Thursday hosted football legend, Nwankwo Kanu in Abuja.

Yilwatda welcomed the Kanu in a meeting that bridged the worlds of politics, sports, and business.

The visit featured engaging discussions on how to harmonize and enhance the interplay between these three key facets of society politics, sports, and business for greater national benefit.

Yilwatda stressed the value of understanding the domains deeply, noting that politics, sports, and business can be very interesting if understood.

They discussed ways to achieve better balance and synergy among them, drawing on Kanu’s extensive experience as a former Super Eagles captain, UEFA Champions League winner, Premier League star with Arsenal, and current influential figure in Nigerian sports administration and philanthropy through his Kanu Heart Foundation.

DAILY POST reports that Nwankwo Kanu, widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s greatest football exports and affectionately known as “Papilo,” has long transcended the pitch, engaging in business ventures and community development initiatives.

The meeting underscores the growing intersections between Nigeria’s political leadership and iconic sports figures, fostering dialogue on holistic national development.
